In The News...

Yep.

The big thing right now is saying sorry for stuff that happened 3 centuries ago.

As in " sorry we christened the eskimos", Sorry we had slaves in the Virgin Island or somewhere".

I have a hard time feeling sorry abou something somebody did 300 years ago.

But that is probably just because I'm an insensible bastard.

More than a toehold, I'm afraid.

Big city thing, this being sorry about what our ancesters did.

Us loggers don't give a shit.

I'm pretty sure my ancestors were not wealthy enough to have slaves. In fact, some of them may have been slaves. I have a fair amount of Irish in me.

Mine sure weren't either.
Drunks and petty criminals the lot of them.
Except for that fellow who made it to the South pole, of course.

But from what I know of him, old Roald didn't give a shit about most things, either.

Say id-gaff

IDGAF

I Don't Give A Fu**

Rolls off the tongue better than IDGAS

Some people say GAFF....flying F*

That spells better. Back on topic...just a colloquial sidetrack.
