i fully recognize the correlation between gear heads of all types. there are toys for everyone. especially the wanna be thugs that play with ar15s for fun. But honestly in regard to the sights on the side, any reason that wouldn't wouldn't work perfectly fine? there is nothing technically wrong about where you put your sights. on the side or on the top, And it would make sense if you were always shooting out of a rolled down window.

But from a technical perspective, there is nothing wrong with it, correct? Perhaps a clever solution for a very common modernday warfare scenario? Possibly a better weapon to play with than a AR15 if your one to play with guns? If I were a wannabe thug instead of a wanna be climber, i would probably just by all of it, and a whole bunch of bullets.

Well, I’m sure there’s a reason no gun training facility teaches gangsta style gun handling. And while alternate sights are useful on an AR, what Bob posted is merely to mock ghetto-gunners. They would serve no purpose. If they did, they’d be a thing.
