Yup .. Sharps 45-110. Quite a bit more punch than the 45-70. Lotta powder behind that slug.

That's a nice looking rifle Rich.
Actually the rifle in Tom Selleck's movie was specially made for him
Shiloh Rifle Co. out of Big Timber, Montana built the 1874 Sharps into a 45-110 with a extra long barrel

Nice. I gathered from seeing the film he had a long barrelled version. Wasn't sure if it was just for Hollywood though. Nice gun anyway and a heavy SOB to shoulder.
