Work vs life

yeah that makes sense, I hadn't thought of that aspect. It's a big balancing act.

Mickey's keeping it on the DL re how many hours he puts in :/:

Sorry forgot about this.

Maybe 6/7 hours a day when I work so 25/30 actually working then a couple of hours Saturday pricing, couple on a Sunday doing maintenance.

Sometimes more, usually less.

So, regularly under 40 hrs/wk. You mention pricing, does that include time spent writing the estimates after you've looked at the job?s

Wow, our boy has it definitely going on!

Mad props :rockhard:

Smaller jobs (under 2k) I just write the price in a duplicate book on the spot.
Larger ones I’ll send an email with a drawing or whatever on the iPad sat at the kitchen table.

Nothing really engineered about it Cory, I’m very lazy, and after a while you sort of build the business that suits you.

In the middle of an underpriced conifer hedge removal job at the moment, lazy pricing, so about 1.5k short of what it should be (Phone and power lines slowing us down)
By the middle of this afternoon I had passed from the absolutely bloody furious with myself/running away to start a new life phase to the having a laugh and bollocks to it phase.

No one gets it right all the time!
