Tree felling vids

Taking credit for "inventing" attaching a porty to a truck is like taking credit for figuring out where to put the gas in a saw... I posted a picture of that back at AS in 2002-2003... As is using a T-square to check the gun of a notch.. I posted a video of that well before holmie posted a thread introducing "his" new technique... It never even occurred to me that it was something "new"... just common sense..

There in lies your problem Murph. No ONE has claimed to discover anything, we learn from each other. You approach everything like it should be claimed and that every method you use is right no question. I see it in your vids all the time. You edit the piss out of them as the critism comes in. You don't take critism constructively, only argue your point with closed mind. And yes Murph, even you have something to offer (not just in the comedic scense of our amuzment of your folley) even if it is learning what not to do. And maybe it may not be a new technique, but new to someone that has not used it yet. Get over your self Murph, be safe, live well, and quit expecting us to be wowed by you and your posts, vids and pictures.
Now... back to pretty much reading shat... Laughing my butt off and pretty much ignoring you

"Blowing big tops", I think someone on here beat you to that, a long time ago, in a lot bigger way, but I don't see them beating their chest and bragging up how awesome they are and we all need to learn HIS ways, and ONLY his ways.
Sorry, it's like the old idiots in the machine shops I had to deal with, how could I know anything, I was too young! I always loved hearing, "I've got underwear older than you!" Boy, that's something to be bragging about!

I have some raw footage of some jobs, but I dont think its really interesting enough for you guys, just a big oak rig near a busy road on a scorching hot day, and will probably get Daniel worked up anyway haha, sorry.

I forget to. I get in my zone and all I can think of is "stay the f*%! Out of my way" I don't even get good pics too often really.

Me too ... I almost never take pix or vids of actual work. It's too distracting. Except when I'm trying out something new and I need advice. But, I do have one from a while ago.

It's TRIVIAL by TreeHouse standards but it worked out ok. So, FWIW:

Looks good, Jack. A bit fancy for that size tree but well planned considering you were working without a helper. Burnham will razz you about your thumb, though. :/:

I expect Burnham to razz me about the HAMMER, TOO.

But, any advice from Burnham is welcome, well regarded and well received. :)

Gotta say I'm not impressed with the 361 after watching that! Then, where's the skid steer?
But mine's signed! :P

So is mine!

Heck, I don't even need to speak up, you fellas already know what I'm going to say.

I suppose that means my work here is done :).
