Thumbs down. Had one a couple years ago. The line twists coming off the reel.

They work quite well actually. Line tangles during the toss are practically eliminated. Though there is some trade in winding the line over flaking it into a cube. All in all a darn good idea.

Yep. If I remember right there's a little handle on the back side to spin it. It helped to add a little friction with your foot or something while rewinding too.

Pretty easy to just let it spin as it meets the twist, an almost impossible thing to do with a cube.

Yes, that's the "brace" part.
