Evidently. With the hog in quesition, he was apparently the owners favorite animal buddy and they had a very close relationship for years until one day, for no known reason, sh*t went crazy. The animal was 250lbs of straight gristle and muscle with tusks. I bet it could withstand a baseball bat to the head

The deer have been bedding down by the house again. They must know I don't hunt. As soon as I dumped my can of fuel in the house and closed the car door, they dropped back down.

This was hard to watch tho there's no blood etc.

I was at my mother's house a few days ago, and my sister's blue heeler was licking my pants. There was a hole there, so I told my sister that her dog had attacked me, and chewed a hole in my pants. My sister ignored me, not surprisingly. I got thinking about it today, those pants shouldn't have had any holes in them. It turns out, the holes were from battery acid that had leaked out of the deep cycle batteries I had moved into my garage. My sister's dog was licking battery acid off my pants FOR FUN! Heelers are insane. :|:

Maybe not that insane. If it's a cotton pant, the battery acid destroys it by breaking the cellulose chains in glucose monomers. So, actually the area around the hole should have a somewhat sweet taste. Not eager to test it tough.

Didn't know where to put this- the latest hunting thread I could find is for 2016. I thought of a Taxidermy thread but that might not get much play over time. So here ya geaux

I did that once, too. Very similar situation.

I'd never have known the varmit was in trouble...I was sitting at home after bidding close friends farewell to continue on their trip to see their grandkids. A few minutes later the phone rang and L asked if I could go up the road and see if I could untangle the coyote they had just passed.

They call me "coyote whisperer" in jest from time to time :).

I carry wire nips n pliers should I ever be called upon as such
