Lotta brown bears today. Super wet out and the creek is high.

I’m ok seeing them at the zoo. Or from afar with a 7mm Rem mag just in case.

I see plenty of black bears. Usually no trouble from them, exception being their affinity for trash cans. There was a bear vehicle incident yesterday on the other road to my lawn mower client, but that is very rare.

This black bear was displaced by Scuba Sue today for a bit.

Not actually guiding today but the wifey and I went out the road today for a hike. Saw this brown phase black bear off the road on our way home.

Yes, they have! Nice bit of weather currently so the water level is coming down in the creek. Check out the live video feed I posted earlier for a warm up for your cruise.

Le Conte glacier trip today with a stopover in Petersburg afterwards.

We had some company at the glacier. The jet ski group "Dangerous Waters" goes from Seattle up to Haines. I see them all over the place.

The country is raw Cory. You can easily see the vegetation transition as you move up further into the bay towards the glacier.

In general the users tend to be obnoxious, but this is well guided and professional outfit from what I can see.
