It seems that sometimes going off topic is what is needed to keep a thread active. It gets people interested again, and often rolls around to picking up on what the thread was about to begin with. It takes some courtesy though, not jumping in with irrelevance when there is appropriate discussion going on, something I am guilty of. :roll:.
