Am I the only one that has been tested for antibodies?
You might remember back in January, I got tested because my daughter and son-In-law came for Christmas and brought us the London variant. They both had it while they visited, neither really showing symptoms other than not being able to smell and a slight headache. The day they left, I had a headache and was tired.
When they got back to London they tested and had the antibodies. When I tested, it showed I had one of the the antibodies.
When I went to be with my mom, I basically went into COVID central. A total of 4 of her caretakers had been in her house with COVID and one was still there. The one that was still there tested positive after my mom had tested positive, so it was not like she was going to give it to my mom. The positive caretaker stayed upstairs and rested for a day or two then was back down to help with my mom.
I wore a mask, washed my hands and was as “safe” as possible but was surely exposed again. So far,14 days out, I’m fine.
Hubby John also has the antibodies. He was in my moms house as well and is doing fine.
Neither of us has been vaccinated nor are we going to be vaccinated, we feel like our own antibodies are doing what they are supposed to do. I would love to be a part of a study that is looking at natural immunity.
