I was lamenting my lack of welding skill yesterday.
Wow; miss a few days and the world changes!! Welcome back Brian!! Good to read you again. Re-nested three screech owlets; spalted wood discussion: I trimmed the office at my last house with wood from a spalted Sweetgum I took down and milled. Dropped a hollow walnut for my 83 year old beekeeper friend ( been farming and keeping bees since he was 17!). Borrowed a friend’s stumper and belt failed with literally three passes to go! - now waiting on a new belt. He never cleans anything, so I took the time to clean, lube, and adjust it. I asked if he had a spare belt at the barn and he said, “No, that belt lasted 15 years”. Cleared underbrush and spread topsoil and leaf mulch so wife could start a shade garden.

It's not that hard to learn.I was lamenting my lack of welding skill yesterday.
Thanks for letting us know. Not sure where to post this but I need to leave town for a week. No internet access on my phone (I refuse to do it) so I will see you all next week.
