How'd it go today? well, it went really good, till the big bang from the snapon guys mirror, and my face full of glass...
also, its $686 for the passenger side mirror on those trucks, and $47 for mini cobra pliers which I just had to buy as a souvenir
feel free to talk as much sh*t as you want, I was watching the car next to be because they were being a little stupid, and I ended up being the stupid one today, mistakes were made, he still got the better end of the deal since his mirror was still usable, about 2/3rds of mine imbedded itself in my upper body, other third is now going to scratch me for as long as I own the truck because theres no way its all coming out of the seat, I really need a vacation, like really need one

I wouldn't say I EDC knipex on purpose, but more often than not I find myself putting them in my pocket because I use them so often, I quit carrying anything besides phone, wallet and keys since I'm usually around stuff with tools and don't like extra weight in my pockets, but this is one exception I make, the pliers wrench comes before my pocket knife or multi tool 100% of the time, I'm sure the mini cobra's will replace those for a carry tool, but we will see
that being said, I have the pliers wrench that I got a year ago and I use them almost every day, quite often end up in my pocket at work and get used all day, absolutely fantastic tool to have around, I will probably end up with the mini cobra's in my pocket for pulling stubborn R clips, electrical connectors, etc, save my fingers where I can, they are about an inch shorter than a dollar bill so they won't be any good for much serious work, I can pick a quarter up by the lip on the edge with them tho
so far, overall knipex opinion? I would never buy another brand of pliers as long as I can afford knipex, the quality is absolutely incredible compared to anything else, dare I say it, better than any other tool truck brand, but the price reflects that, my cobra pliers were $47 and my pliers wrench was like $75, I've put a cheater pipe over the back handle on the pliers wrench and absolutely reefed on them and I didn't break them, also don't need to hold both handles once you put a little pressure on them, very handy design although they take more space than a wrench, if I really have to torque on a small bolt I don't grab anything else, they will NOT strip a bolt head, especially great on aluminum hydraulic fittings

I discovered Knipex tools several years ago. I have 7-8 different styles of pliers from them, all top quality tools. You can find them on Amazon.
heres how good the pliers wrench is
I went from an absolute hater of pliers to using those instead of anything else where possible, you're looking at a year of absolute abuse, cheater pipes, box end wrenches to extend them, using them for things you shouldn't ever use pliers for, I've been doing my best to break them, and they look brand new, most all knipex pliers are designed to self close when you use them the right way, but I've used the pliers wrench backwards countless times and you can still clamp down on the handles hard enough to where you just about cannot push or pull hard enough to make them slip, its honestly mindblowing the first time you use them
you can feel the quality of the steel, its very hard but has a little flex so you don't shatter them, the cobra pliers have wicked sharp jaws that will cut their own grooves into pipe or rounded bolts fairly easy
you can get the 10" pliers wrench and 10" cobra pliers combo for around $90 on amazon right now, buy it, you won't be disappointed
