yeah, like me trying to chip a trailer load of brush that got dumped in a 10ft wide space, next to a hill so I can't do much with the machine, and its so packed in there that my trailer was identifying as a 80yd storm truck

didn't get far, got really sweaty and my glasses got a little bent when they fell off my face from all the sweat, but other than that I did nothing but waste an hour of my time and remembered why that pile has been sitting there for 3 weeks

For years I've been aware of a concept in human nature, but have never been able to quite put it in words. Well, today, I've figured out how to describe it: there are an alarming number of people out there, that if they were just a little bit smarter, might be able to comprehend just how stupid they were.

I think that little bit smarter is called humility, and according to the degree of humility is the degree of understanding just how stupid one's self is.

customer texts me asking if I work in a certain area, check on google and see why they are having a hard time finding anyone, I've been that way in a pickup truck and had to use 4wd on pavement to get up some of the hills, and you'd have to drop/re-hook trailers to make certain turns

of course I say I can do the job, where theres a will theres a way, if I gotta winch the truck to the tree, wouldn't be the first or last time
then he asks for weedeating, sorry, no can do, then he wants a bid on a tree and its excuse after excuse why he can't be on site, look up the property on google maps and he doesn't own it, its a cabin rental place that owns the property, this dudes name isn't on anything for the cabin company

hate getting excited to go do a job then have to turn it down like that, but you gotta CYA sometimes, rather just not do a job than do it and find out the real landowner didn't even know about getting any work done

Little gift from a custy the other day. 359.Runs great, but maybe a bit lean. These were good saws. Happy Stephen. My hot rod Echo is down at the moment (intake boot). This will fill in for now nicely, except for the full comp 24" 😝

359 was the first expensive saw I ever ran after a poulan without anti-vibe. It was impressively smooth. smooth and kind of slow on the spool up/down too was my impression. It felt expensive.

What happened to the intake boot? I'm just curious what failures happen and why.

It has a crack in it. They do that sometimes from just use. It flexes there.

I still have a 355t I need to do a whole parts swap on to replace the tanks/engine cover. Someone got it stuck, and tugged so hard the ripped the whole handle off the engine.

Make sure the 359 has a metal boot clamp.

Also some of their carbs need a hole drilled in the diaphragm cover plate…treemonkey 359 carb fix…I forget if it’s the walbro or zama.

A red one of those was what got me started in saws. This is another one
