I have a thing for northern flickers because I grew up hearing them in the PNW but didn’t discover what they were until moving down here.

@Dave Shepard helped a friend start a pettibone backhoe with a 2smoke Detroit in it that had sat for decades…it also fired right off.

You have to make sure the injectors/rack are not stuck on the two strokers. They are otherwise dead simple.

Kaveman and I tagged teamed a quite largish Blue Oak. Had to be at least 4' dbh. He got some photos. Maybe he'll share them. Probably the largest he has been in since he came.
