Metavic, makes some nice looking trailer/grapple set-ups. But they aren't giving them away by any means when I checked last.

I like the looks of that Dodge, but what can you legally haul with it? It's got to weigh 15k with a gvw of what, 18,750?

Jmacs are nice. Guy down street has one. But on the other hand my trailer costs me 99$ for five years in reg and maybe a gallon of fuel a month on the little honda.

Lick lick, dribble dribble!
Here in England, that gear is the stuff of wet dreams! Our trucks are so crap by comparison.

Plus UK tree blokes often operate in smaller ranges, often a tractor loader combo or similar will suffice for larger jobs.
More cost efficient than running a larger truck every day.
Most farmers are happy to take their equipment to a job for a small fee or the wood.

Seriously!!?

Those loaders are friggin' dogshit, look like they've been knocked up by a farmer in a barn. Want a decent loader, go to well... pretty much any of the European manufacturers - Loglift, Epsilon, Diebolt, Chronos, Cranab, etc etc etc.

And from a personal point of view, I find I prefer trucks without 20 ft of bonnet (sorry 'hood') sat out front taking up room.

Also, our trucks are bigger and have significantly higher GVW's and payloads than they have in the US (44 tonnes as opposed to 36 tonnes)

Go and see a few British haulage companies trucks in operation before you start calling our trucks crap.
