I am what you could call a reluctant vegetarian.

Means I EFFING hate that word.

I raised calves and slaughtered them ( To be read in the voice from Doctor strangelove) for 10 years.
I shoot my dogs when the time comes for that.
I can kill anything and not feel bad about it, if it is done in a clean way.

But because I can't and never could eat meat ( As in I puke from it) I get lumped in with the vegetarians and even worse, vegans.
Most members know that, and I usually don't get handed too much shit about it.

I respect that but still love the humor from that movie. That line is quintessential Mediterranean mother. I eat only premium food when given the choice. I can appreciate tailoring one's diet to match needs.
