I finally got the new size in, here they are. The XL is supposed to be 20" but the yardstick clearly shows they're a mere 19. These will be about 1.5" shorter than I'm used to, but I'll see how these feel. The shank/gaffs seem to be a tad more forward than conventional spurs, but that might be my imagination. Man, these suckers are LIGHT!

I was wondering when we'd be hearing about those new toys! Do you have any jobs coming up soon to give them a good testing on?

Give yourself a little time to adjust to the different gaff position. It took a few weeks for me until it became 2nd nature

Then you'll never want to climb without :)

wow, i thought just the pad was carbon fiber, never relised the whole shank was to!!

I spent the bucks this year......and will never go back. I like em'

they do feel weird at first....I moved the padding around a bit to fine tune them

Well I think they're awesome.. congrats boss... Too bad you so far from me I'd let you play with them in my back yard on my practice tree ;)

I would think a slightly more froward shank position could be a good thing, more natural on the leg, getting the foot and calf a litle more involved.

I ride a carbon fiber bicycle that weighs a pound less than my 346xp. How do carbon fiber climbers hold up? Are they solid or are the shanks tubular? I know I have put my aluminum Bashlins through hell and they keep going.

Practice trees are cool!!

Everybody should have one.
