The Official Work Pictures Thread

I got to pretend I was west coast today:D
image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
One of the three we took out had already failed, wiping out the service lines. Of course they were put right back up so I got to climb rather than flop them. They were nothing in comparison to what Stephan, Bixler, and Bots have been doing but I could pretend for an hour. These were "fun size". 8)

No problem Cory... just drop us a few hinge pics by the end of the week, and I'll drop all charges for my priceless advice. If not, I'm sure we can work something out via PayPal.

PS great work Griff, Bix great sets of pics. Beast trees. Awesome thread per usual!!!

Very nice hinge work Cory, looks like ash to me . Right?

All I had to today was stumps, some mighty big ones though.
From 2 feet of snow a couple days ago to 80F today. 20160513_123014.jpg 20160516_152117.jpg

Thanks Stephen, was a 3 day ordeal for me to get it down.
Definitely one of the eldest eucs in the county, they started getting planted about 1912 I believe.took 3 slings to attach the porty.
Thanks Butch,i love that shirt 😉
He isn't grinding the stump, huuuge root flare on that piece.he said few $k but he would make it level and haul excess🙄

Big job. Well done. Why was it removed ?

My puter is wonky, sorry for the duplicate pics

No sweat brother, I did a really nice Fir today and lost the pics. :(

Like Gary said, that image of the Ash with the sun shining on it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life. You guys have some really beautiful Ashes. I love the first one too. The crazy symmetrical bark. The perfectly cylindrical boles. Beautiful stuff. Was that a Jonsered? Cool looking saw.

Thanks Cory.

Glad you liked em, I wouldn't have posted but for your wisecracks!

That is tulip in the first pic, they are definitely noted for their often perfect cylindrical boles, like giant pencils!

That was a Husky, actually not sure if it is a 576 or 395. Ya know how you can usaully ID a familiar saw or piece of equipment just from the tiniest smidge of an image? Well, I'm flunking on that one.:|:

I'll go with a 576, that looks like a 24" bar on it.

Bummer on the lost fir pics!!

Started lightning strike job today. Getting lots of stuff ready (cameras, gear, landscape etc) and dealing with other drama. Put in 4 hours climbing today.

Whooo them some nasties August! Talk about a switch up,always keeping us on our toes...

Thanks Reg,I think because that euc was topped long ago they always had concerns over it's stability...some was slightly overhanging the neighbors house as well. I was merely contracted to cut.
