Some improvement in some areas, Willie, like temporary housing and programs to assist those that were strongly affected. The nuclear disaster is still very much that. Some areas they say that perhaps in five years people could return, other locations closer in, they aren't venturing a guess. Stuff on the news about cleanup at the reactor site and other areas. The reactors themselves, a touchy subject. Photos of scraping off the topsoil on school grounds, etc. They get old people to do it, since they are going to die in the not too distant future anyway. What they are going to do with all that soil is a real problem. A lot of things they still don't know what they are going to do. While they are scraping off the soil, fresh and still contaminated soil is washing down the hillsides. Much you don't know what is going on, and it is probably a safe bet that what you don't know can probably kill you. All in all, the country is moving forward in respects, but much tragedy is in the wake and not disappearing. I heard on the news yesterday that in some areas, mushroom collectors shouldn't even think about it. Woodwork is slowsville, tree work too.
People that weren't affected are forgetting.
