The Official Work Pictures Thread

 Shawn...my hubby now has to push that cart down the road...either that or we find a stray dog to harness up to it.

I bet in about a month when I go back to do some other work there it will be application of chainsaw at a lower level.

They all want to carve something and probably have good intentions until they find out how much $$$$$$ it is going to be.

I agree...lower side branches were really punky.
Easier for me to pop back and cut it down later than have them thinking they should have left it higher for whatever reason. I reckon they'll put some vines on it...

Good pics, Fi, and a dang good job.

Yeah... people never do anything. It's like all the new guys at work who are always bringing home "interesting," wood-grain pieces. You know they're never gonna do jack with em, but Got bless em all the same.

They just had the carvings recently painted on one of my accounts....

The guy that carved these has only been doing it for a few years as I recall. Maybe 5. He gets better and better.
He recently lost his home to one of our fires. His shop as well. All his tools. He is in process of starting over. He got a chance to do some work out of state and took it.
I referred a lot of clients to him.
He was holing up with a friend, boys scout master and artisan. Scott McGrath.http://www.mcgratharts.com

Nice!
My freebie silky saw got lost in the 'how hot is your truck, glowplugs, hairdyer stuff' in the other thread...I won an online competition...anyone else have one of these?

Were you dumping on site? I hope your groundie doesn't wear his hard hat and chaps to drive the chip truck to the dump site and back.

I tend to get nervous working around guys who blindly wear as much safety gear as possible 100% of the time regardless of what they are doing, instead of thinking about the task at hand and risks involved with that task. Because they don't think, they just focus on following all their memorized safety rules but have no idea of what's going on around them. They tend to get people hurt with their lack of focus IMO. Why would you wear chaps and a hard hat to drive the truck to the dump and back?

Just an off-the-wall comment, Scott. No offense intended toward you or your employee. It appears pretty obvious you're dumping on site so he was probably back running a saw 5 minutes after you took the pic.

A lot of fellas don't even realize they have it on.

I was never like that. I want it off ASAP.
