The Official Work Pictures Thread

I meant it. There was no bucket work involved, was there? No need for ground pro, was there?

Cory we prolly have 500 sheets of useable plywood. The problem is (to me) that those are all less than two months old and they won't last till spring. We were supposed to be buying mats (150 at a time) last spring. Don't know what happened to that. I do know the boss has a new fancy stamped concrete driveway now. Priorities I guess.
Dang Jed we only have rumors of snow right now. You're bad ass man. I can deal with snow, just not yet

Sounds like you need a bunch of mats to take the brunt of the work, use the plywood where it won't get ruined too fast (nice, smooth, dry lawns). But wow, that's a lot of plywood. How many guys work in the field at your place?

What sucks about this job is the country club wants it done and billed before the end of the year, while we have a clearing to do for them(where damage doesn't matter) at the end of January when the ground will most likely be frozen.

Well if you are billing by the hour it doesn't matter, but all the matting is a pita. If it is a set price, the matting must be killing the job numbers!

Nice work guys. I'm not ready for snow yet, I saw a car driving down the highway with snow on its roof this morning.

We did a bit of large deadwooding in some pretty big oaks and maples.

Didn't get any after pics, it was getting dark by the time we got down and cleaned up around the property.

This thread is so awesome.

Thanks Jed! When I can't take it over here anymore, I'll for sure come say Hi at least! What an awesome offer. I hear it's like tree climbers gold rush down in Cali right now. . .

Those were some big oaks Ruck! Heavy looking buggers. . .

Nice work everyone!

Sam, personally, I'd like to see you haul away a pile of chips in that wagon.......dunno why....I just do.....

I dig the wagon Grendel.

Did a barter job today. Was supposed to be half day with 3 trees. Turned into 6 as a full day. 3 oaks, 2 maples and a black birch.

A few were some real leaners over the drive. Overall good day. Got to leave the wood and blow all the chips in the woods.

Some pretty nice pieces of holding-wood, there Ruck. Specially the first one... pretty nice to see that there's at least a few of the younger chaps runnin around out there who seem to know what the heck they're doin.

Bringin a gun to a knife-fight on that guide-bar, though, brother, dang!

Nice pics. Even had some hinge pics in there for us that get into that sort of thing.

Don't ya just love it when the trees are below the road , with power lines directly above, and a guard rail:X. The guys were all upset this morning till I showed them that a winch has many uses.

Got them laid out for the log truck to stop by. This is phase one of another dumbass round about the county seems to enjoy now. We will see how the rest of the job goes. I just hope my request for the sheriff to patrol the road gets through. We had several people get the stop sign bounced off of their cars today. Flaggers did their jobs right in my mind.
