It was dead and just did not know it.. so I helped the inevitable outcome along. 47" at the cut... over 15 degrees lean out of the lay. The one behind it might survive. All done. The clean up sucked. I get to leave the log lie for now

It was sitting right on the edge of a seasonal creek.... fat but not much past 100 feet. Friggen fatty limbs though... Some had to weight towards 1000#.

I don't really contract climb much anymore, but I've got this Horse Chestnut coming up for a mate of mine, no access for crane or platfom, cabled up in the past, expensive wall underneath, should be fun.

We'll leave the hinge stuff out of it for now... let it just suffice to say that I've got a few little jealousy issues going on there as well.
