On that note, TractorSupply gets chicks in the spring; very cute. They could buy some of those, raise them in a nice clean coop, with lots of food and water, and just keep them til they die of old age. That would be some humane chicken meat :^P

My sister pet a chic to death when she was 3 or 4. What can I say life on a farm can be boring and lonely.
