Motorcycling.

That is what sidecars are for.
I didn't get a car until I got married. Before then I rode bikes year round.
When winter came around, I'd run a sidecar bike.
Now, getting old, fat and soft, I can't believe that I didn't give up and buy a car.
I've been riding through blizzards where I have been frozen to the bike and my friends have had to help me get off it, when I arrived.

When temperatures drop below -30 celcius, one can't wear a visor, because it'll freeze over, but riding without, one can't go very fast or the corneas will freeze.

The stupidity of youth.
I sure wouldn't do it today. But back then it was the mark of a real motorcyclist around here that one rode year round, regardless of weather.

Here's hella pictures.

Cousin Bob is having some fun :D

I thought they said eighth but I am not sure if that was a reference to the eighth marker or the length of race.
I am guessing quarter... Speed and time wise.

That's what made me ask. A 6.50 time in the 1/4 would probably be in the 260 mph range, depending on the vehicle.

He pretty much built that bike from the ground up. Blown Nitro Methane Harley. I think he also designed and built his own blower for it as well.
Lights up pretty at night too :D

I commuted to high school on this 305 scrambler model, reward from working at a Gulf gas station. The previous owner put a racing cam in it, but there was still one around that I could never beat. Nice bike, with a great sound with open pipes, but it got me tickets. Wish I still had it.

Perhaps those carbs are available here? If you care to send me a part number and pertinent info, I can ask.
