How'd it go today?

Things went well at the kiddo's school, although I learned that discipline is not part of the parent helpers protocol. Mouthy, rude little buggers some kids nowadays.

I wonder where they learn that?

Yah I hear ya. Alot of people are rude bastards nowadays too. I dislike people that don't communicate with atleast basic common courtesy. Treat others as you yourself would like to be treated. Basic. It's wrong to treat or speak to people in any other fashion.

Got rained out 3 different times today. Got the job done, but got soaked doing so. Oh well a little raking tomorrow and call it done. New chip truck came in real handy, 4 low backing up the hilly driveway.

Pictures tomorrow if the weather holds.

Got rained out 3 different times today.

Just curious, how does that happen? I guess I mean to ask do you follow impending weather patterns, and if so, do you just say "go for it?"

When I see that's rain is coming, that's it - usually. Why waste all that time?

Remember, I'm made outta sugar. 8)

First job we showed up at the people were haveing a family emergency and couldn't do it today so I was scrambling to get the guys more work. Got the palm job lined up and then a brush chipping job. Guys got to the brush chipping and blew a fuse on the chipper, I was on my way to bid an emergency job so told them to polock chip. Lady we worked for ran to the parts store and got a 25 pack of fuses! Made the guys happy and we knocked 25 bucks off the bill. win win win

It would pour down rain for about 30 minutes and stop. Be nice for about 1.5 hours and then pour again. I hate to call a day when the weather is acting like that. Pop up showers are pretty common.

Finished the 20 acre job today and got a nice check :D... Hooked the DR on a rock in reverse and tweeked the right hand runner bad enough we will need a torch to bend it back... Guess I will have to address it after I get back. I told Rob to check and see if our mechanic that owes us has time but I doubt that will happen... Oh well.... A poison oak job for Sat canceled due to money but I knew they would (already called and gave me a warning it could happen ;) ). That way Rob can have at least two days off to see to shat around here while I am gone...

Did some chipping and bid a $3100 crane removal. Everything taken away and stump ground. Again... I hope I get it.

I'm hoping things are dry tomorrow, so I can do some tip deadwooding of some big white oaks, which'll finish a big job.

I'll be relieved to get that check finally!

Sucks dude... I've only been to one. Death is one of those things that you can't give anyone an answer to. They just have to deal with it themselves, and we're just around to let them know the world still turns.

At least that's the way I've always thought about it...

Yah. As a non-beleiver in the mystical world myself death seems rather sudden and harsh, espescially so when it comes to a younger person. I just went to support my unc and his girlfriend I didn't really know her son at all.

It's like you said though, there's nothing to say. Even if there is a 'heaven' and a whole awesome 'afterlife' that no one in the world has any actual hard evidence of, it still sucks big time to send a loved one there before yourself. I guess if the world was perfect we'd all just go to heaven together right now?

Today meaning yesterday I was on a roll . Put a new timer on my aeriation sewage system . Repaired two weed wackers, a blower and a gas powered hedge trimmer all within and hour and a half and still had time for beer thirty on the patio .

Yeah, or we'd all just quit worrying about it, and have a good time.

That pretty much sums up my outlook.

Beer-thirty... Nice! My time zone was a little behind today, but it's here now. :D

Spent the last 4 days dealing with the most evil, unreasonable, self-centered, power hungry piece of shit I have ever met. It has ended poorly and i am getting sued. I hate this woman and her candy ass of a husband.

I'm on edge right now

Wagnaw, funerals do suck in general. I find the stages of life interesting, so far in my late 20's I went to a bunch of weddings, not so much anymore, the last 5 years its been baby showers etc and now my inlaws (in the mid 60') are starting to lose their friends a little too regularly, like one a month, we have accompanied them to a few weddings and funerals the last few years. Conversations with my pops in law now usually start with who is sick, who died and what the remaining wives/husbands of the recently deceased are up to.

pretty depressing if you let it get to you.
