How'd it go today?

Adding 2 bedrooms, an office, bathroom and TV room to the basement.

I hate remodeling.

Got blown out today..... Winds came up so we will finish killing the Bull Pine Monday. So we get to color eggs and work on tomorrows dinner stuff :D
I'll post some pics in da udder thread... ;)

Same here but it was a red oak, first time in a while too. Wind was ok on the ground but downright violent 80' up.

I worked on my truck again. Got the radiator latched down, the shroud trimmed and latched down, got some new hoses and put them on, put the tranny cooler in place and took it for a test drive. Hood was held down with a bungie and kept wanting to come open. Engine stays nice and cool.

Looked this morning, got one for sure, and another is probable, haven't talked to him yet. Then I dumped the trailer, seperated the logs and pushed the chips. I hooked up to the grinder and knocked out the stump from yesterday's pine and got paid. :big-hang-loose:

I DID manage to change the chipper knife yesterday; Carl, this pic is for you- this is the machine Mike ran the choker thru: :D

Looks like it's coming together Steve. You ARE going to dress up the grill a little, right? ;)

Carl, why are you dumping at home? I thought you had a free dump just down the street? :?

Yep... matches the drum, don't it?

Mike had flipped the knife after that, I just put it back there to show what it had looked like.

The knives in my CnD didn't look much better after one of my idiot groundies chipped a steel rake.

Dad wants the chips. The free dump is around 20 miles away.

I hauled the log home from 3 jobs. Those logs can be hauled one load instead of 3. I got to pondering buying a 40 yard roll off to keep here. Dump the chips, load the logs and have them come tip it when needed. When I'm closer to the dump, I'd obviously dump there.

I had a pretty decent day here.

I woke up, came to my senses, finally made coffee a couple of hours later, cooked breakfast for the hosts of last night's shindig, helped one with a stereo issue in his Jeep, did some horse trading on a mosin nagant, came home, cooked supper, and worked on the van for my brother. It was... nice! :D

I put the grill back on and I plan to get a different piece of expanded metal that will cover the rectangular areas which are where I cut out the grill/core support to put the radiator in there. I thought I would bend the metal back where it ends right now and cover the open area. I'm open to any ideas. It's Easter weekend so I can't do anything until Monday.
NeTree, that looks like a disaster.

Look alot nicer to have 1 piece that went around the the headlights also. Basicly cover the exisiting grill and the bottom cut out with expanded metal

It should look beastly and be then called Steve's Beast or dubbed Beast in the fashion of beastly beast hood... HAHAHA
