How'd it go today?

3 1/2 day bid done in 2 1/2 :D
Just have 1/2 day left on a brush blade and weed eater. We rocked that sucka...
Slash and burn baby ;)

Have estimates to do Sun & Mon and then on with the show :)
Friggen sore but it was worth it to be out of poison oak by today :D

I just got done paying this month's bills; it's nice to be able to pay ahead again.

Hopefully work will stay plugging along. :)

Always good to hear the phone ringing, isn't it?

Mine's picking up, so I'm happy(ier).

It's coming in spurts. Being a micro company it doesn't take much to get the bank happy again.

I paid extra, so the bank is back to ho hum. Hopefully this week will get it happier.

Awesome weather today. This morning I did the post winter wash on the chipper to get all remaining salt off the undercarriage. Put a new front tire on my dirtbike and ran out to the store to get a new tube for the rear I popped while putting on the back tire. Mocked up my muffler I have to put on the dump truck for tommorrow. Received 2 more calls for work this afternoon too. Calling for some rain this week, everyone called at once and needs it done yesterday.

Good day today.

Great weather to get some stuff in the truck semi-organized, then went and helped Mike with some boiler wood. Poor Mike is all depressed... they won't let him get handicap plates for the chip truck.

I got a call today. Went and did the bid so I won't mess up tomorrow. After the bid I went fishing at my cousin's place. Nothing.
Al, I went to Wally World this morning and got a 2 1/2 Gal. container of 15-40 wt for diesel engines and it was $12.86.

Watched the race, Nascar, and got a call. Lady needed someone to look at her dryer. I hooked her up with a good guy. Then she goes on about needing work done in her bathroom. "OK, I can do that!" the toilet has been leaking and rotted out the floor. No biggie I tell her. We talked some more about it and she says "OK, I will talk to the land lord and get back with you."
Yeah, I am going to get that job:roll:

Prepped a weed eat job on a horse property today for a couple weeks from now. So put in a couple hours on our day off. Then off to estimates ....

Landed another mistletoe and dead wood job today on some white and blue oaks. Back side of the property has been through 2 fires in the last few years. People are really going to take care of the few trees they have left. With me as the climber anyway :D
My TD job got bigger in that I have to set a line for an antenna in a pine on the back of a property for HAM radio. And I apologize Steve, I forgot to get him your number and such for that bucket gig. It was getting late and we had to part company for the day. I will call him in the AM and exchange niceties. He will be back up here in May and will probably hire you based on talking to you and getting your rates. That way you can just meet him up here with the bucket when he gets back. He normally rents a bucket and flies it himself, but he liked the idea of just hiring you ;) See how it pans out.

Burnt my hand picking up a skillet that was in the oven at 425 degrees. I might be grounded for a couple of days.
