How'd it go today?

Blustery today but I managed to prune a S. Maple with the bucket and 3 apples from the ground.
Erik, remind Brian to kill them with kindness.:D
 
Im not into opening any atts. I dont want to get warms. Man, my dogshad them and now my PC can get them. ?WTF???
 
Put in a solid 9 hour day today. We worked with a past employee of ours who we trained as a climber, so today was a smooth day since we all knew each other really well. Did 3 big trees that required plenty of roping. First went smoothly at about 2 hours and after lunch we got one 80 footer down to the stump and 1/3 of a widespread Oak. I was the guy running the ropes all day, so that was sweet! Also put some time in on the 066 with 36in bar, which I rarely get to do. We took some a bunch of pics that I have to sort through and a video or two. I'll put those up in the Work Pic thread tonight or tomorrow.
 
I think there is a new virus out that is listed on google, "sand worms". News to me.

Bubba had a fever yesterday afternoon. I got one last night. He was fine this morning so I took him to the sitter. Picked him back up at 10am. Fever again. He and I stayed home sick today!
 
I went to Mariposa to do a bid for one of Cursed's customers, and a little while after I came back I got a call from a customer that I had forgotten about. Luckily it was a couple of small takedowns, I left about 2:30 and just got back.
 
Man was it cold and windy today!:X

Never the less we still managed to get a couple stumps ground (different sites) and pruned 2 ash trees (also different sites) that were in pretty bad shape.... that is before I got there.;)
 
MD your forearm band in your avy pic. Do you always have to wear it for work and if so for how long now? I can't work without mine now otherwise I'll tear my elbow right up.:(
 
One of those "better run" days eh Steve.. Happy you got the job though. Her hubby is really wanting that power line in.. REMEMBER THE ANT SPRAY dude! Did you see the nesting hawks while you were there? Sure is a pretty lil ranch ...
 
Uneventful scope today. They removed three big chunks of loose cartilage from the knee. I may be getting a bionic knee, sooner than later.
 
Not too bad of a day... Killed a maple, pruned some trees, and set Mike's truck on fire.
