How'd it go today?

I see your point. The hydro shop had all that apart and I think they are the cause of the sheared key. The nut was loose on the sheared key side. It fawked up the bushing on the feeddrum. They are having to machine a new bushing to make everything like new.

Today ,getting cold .Hauled in a load of firewood ,hickory this time ,the soft maple doesn't cut it this cold .Cooking away nicely as I type .

Just horde .I sold the stuff for 8-9 years in the past .Late 70's early 80's .

I get the stuff any more from two tree services that I kind of help out keeping their saws and equipment running . I do have a tad bit to cut though in the woods when I get a round -tu-it .No big deal ,it isn't going anywhere .

Frig that man I prefer mid 70's although with the balmy weather last couple of days I've had the doors and windows open lots and still having a hard time keeping it under 80. Ahh shorts weather in my house all year round.:D

Some kind of a cold front ,little bit of wind .Supposed to be in the teens .

With a lot of humidity this area will freeze your butt off until it gets real cold ,then it isn't bad at all .Zero,no wind is a lot better than low thirtys with wind in my opinion .

That damned westerly wind picks up speed coming across Indiana .:whine:

Nah dude, wasnt action jackson in that scene, it was this guy. But I hear ya, running two blowers at once is the shizznet!

Dude, Carl weathers and Bill duke were both in that scene,
and at one point Carl (apollo creed) had a gun in both hands and he's
unloading on the Predator, but the Predator blows an arm off with his laser.

The blown off arm keeps shooting at the Predator.

Bill Duke was hiding under a log when he got the triangle laser to the melon.

I could be wrong though, I'm in a food coma right now. Dinner and all.

NeTree, are you into system controls? The wire saw I'm helping to build uses two cabinets that size for the contactors and VFDs. Neat stuff.

sold some logs this morning. fell 2 dead fir for 200 bucks. set up my tree stand and hunted it till dark when i relized i forgot my flashlight again :dur:

Deva, without pulling out the VHS tape of the movie to check, I defer to your obviously superior nerdness, :P

lol.

the scene I was thkning of wa when former governator Jesse Vetura locks up the trigger onthe gatlin machine gun and lets fly on the alien bitch.

ps, alien vs predator as a movie, not so bad if you arent expecting a good story or plot. :D

Part time, now Dave. I have a few shops that call me in for troubleshooting and commissioning. I was an industrial automation engineer before I found out I like working outside in the trees better, and still do it when tree work slows down in the winter.

I deal mostly with Siemens stuff; S5, S7-200 and -300 PLCs, and drives, and alot of the AC-Tech/Lenze stuff, too.

I don't know a ton about it, but have been paying attention.:/: The two other saws are automated. The big one will make repeated passes in a rough block of stone to a preset depth, raise, set over, and repeat. Although sometimes it likes to screw itself through the roof when it is bored. Bad limit switch, I think.:what:

Are you getting into the PC over Lenze yet?
Thats the way the Schellings were set up, neat stuff! You could hook it up to the 'net through the pc and download the driver information.
Go into Global setup on the PC and see which ones weren't working, or why.
It all ran on a PLC/Bus system. Slick as snot!!

The Metlsaws ran off of the obsolete 1394 configuration, pain in the butt to work on!!

Sounds like it... A bad limit switch/prox sensor will keep the machine from carrying to the next step.

Wind, WIND and MORE WIND!!!
Got mama a new toaster. Yeah, pretty exciting day!!!
Tying to figure out what I can do to entertain Dave when he comes in. He thinks he wants to work:?:P
It might hit 43 with more WIND, rain and snow as a posibility.
Nothing I have lined up sounds like much fun that day! A leaning Elm TD, tear out a driveway, form and pour, and build a roof on the back of a porch.
Not much fun in 30MPH winds.
I am having to get creative now, wonder how mama would feel about us spending the day at the nudie bar:lol:

Ha!! Did you forget were you live, it is always windy here....:P
It is real fun when you get 60, 70, feet up.
No tree work the last few days, been fixing fence. Seems the bull is enjoying tearing the hell out of things lately.

Supposed to be a calm day today, 15mph wids, gusting to 25 already!!
Sicker than a dog!! The whole side of my face feels infected, my body aches and it hurts to breathe through my mouth!!!
Still need to do some dirt work, hope it doesn't take long, and hope I feel better tomorow!
