How'd it go today?

im not sensative about losing jobs, just mad when the customer wants to give other people work that they never even offered me, then turns down the work they offered me to begin with, thats just a dick move, and thats not even mentioning the other guy lied about not smashing her fence, the wire is inside the tree, theres no way you're taking the tree down without the fence coming down, cant even set your arm on it without breaking the rusted wire

I didn’t read it all, what seems clear to you gets a bit confusing if you weren’t there, but iirc you do post quite a few “situations” where you feel you’ve been wronged somehow.

People lie all the time, waste your time, dick you around, even to the point of not telling you that there’s a hornets nest in the tree (a particular favourite of mine)
Had one yesterday in fact, neighbours arguing in front of me on a pricing visit.
I just walked off.
Point I’m making is you lose jobs for many reasons, sometimes you’re not a good fit for the client.
You’re a young lad with hustle, that’s great,
Keep doing what you’re doing.

Yesterday was hot and humid (for us) but an easy crane day. Today was supposed to be more of that but I couldn’t set up with out closing the road and somebody forgot to get that permit🤬. Turned into a ten hour day rigging out a good sized pin oak. Tomorrow morning I have two declining silver maples to prune. Vile weeds that will surely decline more since the homeowner just had a new back yard patio installed close to them. They may or may not get gaffed. We shall see how I’m feeling about them tomorrow.
On a more positive note, the holiday weekend was great. Hiking, four wheeling, kayaking, and swimming for four days was a much needed relief from work. Also great food with great friends. Planning on doing that stuff a lot more often.
