How'd it go today?

Recently I began considering trading my 18' tandem axle trailer for a 14' single axle tilt trailer. I have a long list of advantages and only 2 disadvantages. First of all, I have had 2 accidents in the last year with the 18' trailer. Maybe my age or maybe I am just not as good of a driver as I think I am. But the constant tire issues, banging stuff with the fenders, and dealing with the ramps every time I unload are all irritations for me.
I am looking at a 14' single axle, 7000 lb capacity tilt trailer. I would need to build a frame mounted rack over the front of the bed to hold my extra attachments that I currently carry in the front of my trailer. I also have a few other mods to customize the trailer exactly how I want it, nothing too crazy. I can sell my current trailer for about $2k I think. New one will be about $4000 plus modifications. Here is a link to the trailer I am looking at (Alabama dealer has it for $1000 less than local dealer). Equipment Trailers for Sale Leeds Alabama | Trailer Dealer | 4RATU1413SG016842

Nobody is getting younger. Consider some cameras for the trailer and/ or truck.

Decided to sell my 2001 088, pretty good nick, hardly used, and these days when it is used it’s only to run some fuel through it to keep it going, pointless right?
I have a husky 395 and an old husky 288, all the saw I’ll ever need in all honesty.

So put it up on FB marketplace for €1000 which after research is a good price, then the wankers come in….
‘That looks frigged’ ‘that’s ridiculous money’ blah blah blah..

Why do they bother? Just don’t buy it mate!

Anyway sold it subject to collection.

Just got home from TimberFest. I'm toast. Amazing presentations. The guy who built the Globe theater did an hour and a half. Phillipe Petit came to talk about his timber framing experience. Phillipe is a high wire guy. He walked between the wtc towers, I think it was in the'70's. Very entertaining guy.

I got a cold seized 500i. One of these days I'll post a pic of what happens when you work a saw hard without letting it warm up. Go ahead and touch the cylinder fins with or without gloves. Once it's hot enough to burn you (~135F+ without gloves) ought to be good enough. Along with 40:1 of a good oil.

Just sold my 24' deck over goose neck trailer. Delivered it yesterday. Did not get all I wanted for it, but close enough. The trolls were in plenty. Offering 1000.00 for what I was asking 3k for. Lowest wasabout 800.
Just a joke. Cant buy the axles, brakes and tires for much above what I got for it.
Next will be the boat. I just cant wait for what pops up on that.

Is it still available?

got all 4 trees down today, 14.5 hours, was going to be 6 or 7 hours but the vines were just way too much to be chipping so we ended up stacking multiple walnut trees into the trailer, did some sketchy shit but we got it loaded, just got another load of brush to haul off tomorrow and pick my machine up

2 loads of chips, first load was full within an hour of putting my spurs on, then 5 loads of brush and logs which took forever and a half because we have to carry everything down a 46* hill and over formwork, theres power lines, big business sign, house and the customers building (commercial office building)

I got a text form a guy I know and he asks me if I had any old saws. Old not running or old running was my reply. He says running. I have a couple of saw in the $450-550 range I could let go. Them he asks what’s a good cheap saw. Lol some people I just don’t know about them.
