I'd rig some kinda cheater bar to hook on the handle!
That 090 kicked my butt the last few years I run it. Mostly for cutting old growth stumps. I'll tell you, once that tip is buried the leverage you have to bear on that saw to make it cut will shrink your willy.
Well another Northern Manitoba Trappers Festival is over and I'm still recovering from running my chainsaw events last Sat Feb 19.Have fun Willard!
Yes a bit nippy, minus -20F but no wind and sun was shining brightly. You can see us Manitobians are dressed for it. Our website www.trappersfestival.com is not updated yet [new guy in charge] but check out the videos- 2010 on the sidebar and click on " best buns-ladies-2010 contest", that's where things heat up.It looks a 'mite nippley out!!!
I agree , you wouldn't see much with outdoor clothing onAt least y'all had the good sense to run that event indoors!
Yep metal foot guards. I paid over $300 for two pairs of those. I figured along with the chaps and safety glasses they are a good idea. I'd hate to see someone ruin a good pair of running shoes with one of those 576s.What are the metal things covering people's feet? Are they actually metal boots?
Thanks Jay,yes it is a intimate group for our little town. After 4 months of harsh winter and now with the sun shining like spring is around the corner people here love to come out and experience the thrill and sounds of chainsaw racing. We also at the same time have the chainsaw carvers making their works of art for the audience to admire and savour. It looks like an intimate group that you have there, Willard. Bundling up the kids and bringing them too...
Hi Bermy,Hey Willard, you didn't have a guy named Eddie Freeman come over from Oz for the carving did you?
He's pretty famous over here, lives a couple streets over from me, he said he was going to Canada for a competion.
Here's a pic of Eddie's carving at the rodeo a couple weeks ago, and his chainsaw collection...
