Cutting EHS cable

In a pinch you can hold your axe on the ground, blade up and lay the cable tight across it. Where it crosses you can strike with a hammer repeatedly till it parts. Pretty clean cut and you can do it with fairly large cable

If you have power a zip wheel on an angle grinder would make short work of it. They probably make cordless angle grinders but I don't remember having seen one.

Looking back FJR posted a pic of one. Zip wheels cut like butter. Kinda scary to use but you get used to not letting them catch and shatter.
