Hey folks,
I have a question about chest harnesses/shoulder straps
Here's the deal: I am a skinnier fellow (28-29" waist) :(
I own a TreeMotion
Now that the weather is warming up, and less layers are required, I'm finding that:
1) I can't get the waist adjustment tight enough that my TM stays put
2) Eventually, the weight my climbing saw (192) and couple other pieces of gear I carry begin to make my hips hurt (even with the awesome TM padding)

So, a couple people recommend I look into buying a chest harness/shoulder strap add on to help mitigate this issue

Only problem is: the TM shoulder straps (from what I read online) are overpriced and are not nearly as comfortable as other chest/shoulder harnesses.

The highest rated/reviewed product I found was the sequoia SRT chest harness. The problem: it is not compatible with the TM because it lacks a ventral attachment point to connect the chest harness.

So: Does anyone have an idea how I could modify the TM to attach this chest harness? Something I could add, like some extra cordage from side D to side D to make a "false" ventral attachment point (besides the bridge)?

Any help is much appreciated!

By the way I am new to this forum and I'm really happy to be here!
Because trees and stuff. :D

Welcome to the TreeHouse!

All I can say is break out the heavy thread and big needle and force it to attach!
