But figured, hey why not see. You never know there might be a diamond in the rough over here that could really file a chain. :lol:

The 325 chain build off is done. Race chain and work chain winners announced.

I just figure some of you might be interested in the STOCK 325 chains out of the box tested. Stihl RS, Oregon LPX, Oregon LG33, Carlton K1L.

All were run on a stock 357 with 7.

LPX was smoothest in the cuts and right with RS speed wise.
Then LG as far as smoothness but not so fast with smaller cutter. But faster then Carlton.
RS you could feel the vibrations and rougher cut. But I think it was fastest.
Carlton is slow and rough in the cut. I wont be buying this in 325 anymore unless dirt cheap.
