So given the scabbard a good work out and it's holding up.
Best part no chain catching on my ropes

Moderately annoying slip on slip off but as far as I am concerned the protection of my gear overrides

Not much point to it on the spar but glad to have it on the bar when the guys rocked me pretty good on a few hold and lowers
