Is looking pretty good, here is a video split screen of actual car and drive along with in game car with same driver.

That's one hell of a driver!
I've seen a lot of videos and it looks cool as hell, but I'm still pissed it took so long to come out!

I know, they through Prologue out but I didnt bite on that. Not sure if I will get this either, I never did upgrade to the PS3, I dont have time for games anymore.

I suck at those type games Greg! I jump when I should duck, I duck when I should jump, too many things for me to remember what all the damn button combinations do!

I got the PS3 and bought Prologue as soon as it came out to feed my need for a fix. But now I'm jaded. I'm sure I'll get it, if the wife doesn't buy it for me for Christmas even. It's wicked cool, and this would be a great winter for me to have it for sure. I just have to bitch about it taking so long!

Yes Butch, in that video the top is the game, the bottom is the real deal, same track, same car, same driver, just to show the realism of it.

I MIGHT be able to handle that Greg

If you want a realistic tour of the Nürburgring , instead of sitting in front of your computer, which is for sure NOT realistic, Take a ride on the ring-taxi.
If you get lucky, you may even get Sabine Schmitz for a driver:D

The "Queen of the ring", she's bad for sure Stig!
But this gives a lot of tracks, a lot of feedback, is the most realistic driving simulator made, all for $60.
I doubt that would get admission to the ring, much less a ride around it!

Stig, I think the reality is that not many of us will ever get to tour the Nurburgring, GT5 is about the closest thing to actually being there.

It costs about $200 for a ride with Sabine, last I looked. Split that with 3 it is not bad.
We though about doing it for next years company outing, but she's booked up.
Nürburgring is only a days drive from here if you drive like her:lol:.
We try to do a day of fun together every year to keep our morale high.
Guess we'll just have to go climb some redwoods and sequoias again instead.

I've always loved that van ride video.
Imagine taking your porsche or motorcycle out on the Ring and getting passed by a girl in a van:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Paul, if I can go climb the big trees of California, you could go race the Nürburgring.
It is only a question of priorities. It has taken me 17 years to fix this old house of mine up ( so far!) because i prefer living in an shitty house and spending the money on adventure instead.

Priorities!

Yes it is, but this was supposed to have been out two years ago.

Don't feel so bad. My game of choice is IL-2 1946, a WWII air combat simulator. It came out around 2001. They have added new planes, but the game engine and graphics have still not been upgraded. We have been told a new release is just a couple of months out, for 4 years. Hopefully the new version will be out in 2011. Even being this old though, it still has the most accurate flight model of all the air combat simulators.
