Pics er it didn't happen, sis! :X

HA!... Just jokin sister... truth is... I just covet your and Jay's and the Englishmen's/Danishmen's pics, because it's just so cool to see stuff on the other side of the world... yet, in the same world--in a way--that I inhabit. Try to get pics... see... I done it...

Red Cedar Reduction... Bucket Rope Show... only had to climb into one little top that was out of reach... Epiphites include: 1 Holly Tree. 2 Douglas Fir trees, plus a bunch of house-plants I don't know the names of...

Ahhh, we are luck in the PNW.

Put down 21 dead trees in the forested couple acres between two houses.

Mostly easy, but this habitat tree reduced to be short of the neighbor's property, was not so easy. Wraptor-ed up 75', then climbed some more. So many little piddly, but interfering branches, then great big, thick branches. Left many branches on, stubbed off others as perches. This tree had a corkscrew trunk from the regrown tops broke again and again.

Pretty tall. Topped at 120', 35-45' top.

No clean up.

One of my favorite customers.
She's 64 and does most of her own groundwork, but well enough if not to need to.
Set her up with one of my two guys who needs more than 40/week...young baby to provide for.
She hired a guy to help but said he was a waste of space.
I guess she is slowing down a bit lately, maybe because she hasn't had any cartilage left much in her knees for a long time.

The customer keeps saying she wants to adopt me. I'll bring Dahlia out when I put a guy wire on her apple tree, we'll play Go Fish and Crazy Eights. 😀 Be sent home with farm eggs, apple butter, orchard jellies.

That's cool Jed. Would have been interesting to see how long those little trees lived.

Yeah... we'll see, bro... dang sho ain't gonna live too long in the back of my car. I'll probably end up "planting" the log in my 15 year old's garden... she's got a little Gnome Theme goin' on. ;)

Sounds like a sweet lady and a sweet job Sean, especially the no clean up part.

Nice job Jed!

Just ugliness today. I forgot to get a before before I strapped the base together and dropped out the one side prior to the crane coming. Been dead for a time. Owner died about the time I told him he should have it removed. Family took over.... well, you know what I mean.
One limb broken onto the service and roof. Had to ride that one out. All better now. Made bank, took home some fire wood. Home is now listed for sale. Tree was over garage.

Are you sure that one wouldn't have come back in green leaves next spring, Stephen.
Taking it down was way premature IMO.

Goodness, Ugly mess for sure Stephen!!

In the last pic I see Lots of mistletoe in oak behind garage on other property :/::/:

Just another day in the dead.
Funny Stig
Not much money in that old neighbor hood, but I did get to dump chips in a client two streets over and picked up a two limb removal over a house we did today. ;)
