The Official Work Pictures Thread

He could tell you but, then... you know...

:/:

Rajan: I'm thinkin that was cambium-smear, but... :? I'm always packing firewood rounds into my 2005 Pontiac Vibe, like the Redneck I'm trying so very hard to be.

Sean: Fergot to say nice job!... TALL lanky little pig, wasn't it?... I love trees like that.

Stephen: Don't listen to that stupid Dane... that pig was DEAD. (Just Jokin Stig)

So here's a pretty tough X-Ring hit that I put on our Sampson 3/4" bull-rope from the last chunk of my Cedar reduction. I mighta shoulda rethunk THAT one...

Nice Deva...big trees, small trees, diversity is good isn't it.
I like Blackwoods...but they get borer grubs here, how about over in CA?

They are unstoppable here.
I love them...everyone else hates them and calls them invasive.

The have a great habit like a live oak... Beautiful wood. I just spent 260 bones to dump 3000lbs of it at the dump...

Tally Ho....

Who says that?

Nice Deva. I think the pics are backwards from your description but I could be slightly intoxicated. I've never been to good at reductions but I'm getting better.
Jed your little pine was prolly twice the hieght of my bucket baby walnut.

Havent been able to post much lately, sorry. I just have more work than I can handle. I need to work how best to deal with it all as things continue to snowball.

Anyway, We've been on this Deodar cedar for a couple of days. Multi top, buidings, wires, roadside....huge about of mass. 60% rigging. Just me and Dave, and then I want back this morning to fall it and finish bucking. The only pics I have are from this morning. Easy cutting for the ported 3120, 4ft bar, bore cut to help it tip and break clean. Pulled it with the gas winch. High profile location....almost on Davey Trees doorstep. Many, many interruptions throughout with people wanting chat, complain or reap praise on us. Glad to be out of there in the end.

BOOM!!!

my second most FAQ when in a tree is 'you're not cutting it all down are you?'...general public experts...bah!
And if I was, don't you think I'd have a good reason!!

"Noice" Reg. A four day removal means it had to have been one hell of a tree. Been missing your pics and input lately. Check in when you can.

Looks good there, Buddy...good to have them so close together.

Reg...you really do love folks, don't you? Sounds like they drive you crazy sometimes.
