The Official Work Pictures Thread

Morning commute from yesterday. Headed out to clear blowdown on an island off the coast about a mile.

Used to be a granite quarry back in the 1800s, suddenly shut down and they left everything just as it was. Pretty odd place to work. Coils of wire rope rusting away, granite blocks strewn about.

How do you like the 1990, the chipper that thinks its a bulldozer?

Personally I have been a bit slack in the work pictures front.

Still on holiday. Got a few jobs lined up for the first week back.

Currently in Thailand getting beaten on a daily basis. ;)

Here is that cable left behind by the granite folks. Arrived at the island at low tide, had to haul the gear up 12 on to land. Spent the day falling stone dead spruce and stacking brush. Wind came up around 3, beating our ride (48'boat) over the stern. Quick halt to the workday before the boat got too beat up on the seawall

Spent the afternoon cutting brush off of a way to steep slope. Not to fun but it pays well. PW for the next week working for the state

Found a nice hiding spot and just stared at the Rayco wondering if I should attempt to mow the grade I was on. Actually just wishing I could.

I’m just cutting it. The young bucks are the ones getting it down the hill. They will both be tired tomorrow after dragging ropes up that hill and choking things for me to drag down with the mower.

Corey: I freakin LOVE that thing. The boys don't like it cause it's hard to get into tight driveways and that.

Here's some mighty fine Firs, gents. I brushed out and topped two, and Jake did one. The laser clinometer deal pegged em all between 140' and 165'.

Here's a 25' top tooken (not taken) at 120'... (It's also permissable to say, "The top was took at...")

Beautiful work Jed. Your cutting at 120ft looks just as pretty as your cutting at the stump!
