The Official Work Pictures Thread

Bit of both. They go to the shop for TLC after.

Nuked a 36" chain on an embedded eye hook (or something) about 15 feet up the trunk.

I don't polish them or anything, but they are very well cared for.

I need to come up with a cool cabinet for the saws and all the saw related kit. . .

Hanging out with Thattreeguy Dave and splitting some hair in a sugar pine grove today. Will be till Friday anyway ;)

Satellite internets...........I sure am lucky to have fiber.

What sort of cabinet could you put together?

You might need a mill now!

I just might need a mill. . . Maybe a little attack-pack Alaskan setup. Anyhow, I'm not sure what I'm going to do for a saw cabinet, but it's going to have to be fairly big, floor to ceiling just about, with some storage for extra bars/chains ext. I'm going to work on the garage this weekend. Have to get get a load of plywood I guess.

Man Stephan, those are like the prefect trees to work in. Huge columns! Great shots man. Keep them coming.

Cheers.

Love working with Sugar Pine... such a nice hinging wood. Mills out pretty too. Sappy buggers though.
Yup Jim, I seen you are paying attention in class. ;)
I wish you were hear helping us with some words of wisdom on a couple calves. Totally out of my league. Katy thinks the calves have shipping fever. Might lose one.
I'll stick with trees till I can't.
Thanks for the kudos.

Working at the beach, culling invasive casuarinas in the nature reserve...went for a swim after.
