The Official Work Pictures Thread

Holy photo dump. And to think that a short while ago we couldn’t even get a single pic from you @cory. Was that first pic a big ole sugar maple? I’m guessing the guys are doing push ups after every crane pick. I have a guy that does that and another that alternates between push ups and dips. 10 or 15 each pick.
Great run of pictures. I’ll have to watch the videos when I leave my brothers. Not enough reception to load

I started a two doug-fir removal job (last hole in the roof was the straw that broke the camel's back), getting one tree mostly stripped and chipped on Thursday in 6 hours (one trip up, with one tank in my Cs-2511t), followed by preliminary limbing on the second yesterday in two trips up, also by speedlining, and a bit of straight down lowering of some big, heavy limbs that wouldn't have cleared the roof with an uncontrolled speed line.

Some limbs were 40' long and 6" on the butt

I will have help on Monday to get the low and directly over the roof limbing accomplished, and then carry on with speedlining.
Chip on-site, the homeowner is an old-man mulching machine. The soil wasn't very good originally. He has some extensive gardens.

One side provides a good, drive-up 150⁰ drop zone. The rest is house and gardens. The small cedar is expendable.

As most of you know I no longer do tree work, at least as far as running saws or flying bucket trucks. These days I just sit on my loader and move shit for other people. This morning I cleaned up a big mess of stump grindings from a big crane removal we did a couple weeks ago. Absolutely stuffed my F350 10 yard bed (12x8x3.5) and could have hauled more if I had room. Took a little over an hour with my Avant 528.
