splicing Cousin Black Widow

I'll pay out for a tight eye prussik or 3 strand, or a double braid eye. But hollow braid is quick and easy and does not hurt my hands as much
Even whipping gives me grief. Rainy day stuff.
Tenex dead eyes, poppies, whooped and rigging rings are easy peasy.

This Black Widow from Cousins is a polyester double braid not Samson’s dyneema cord. He wants a skinny splice to be able to insert the splice through a mechanical ascender, like the Zigzag. Cousins has come up with one and have applied for a patent for it. The eye is only cover and the crossover happens farther away from the eye. Like the Slaice, they are only tested to 15 kN, because they are to be used in a moving rope system. I’ve done one in Stable Braid and it it is very easy to do once you have the measurements needed.
