Kid could be a beast.
Can you imagine how good you might be in your 20s or 30s if you started at age seven?
Very cool!

This impressed 7 year old, Dahlia, and I.

I don't press her to climb. We mostly do big swinging.

She saw him rope-walking and had her mind-blown.

I told her I climb ropes the same way, and she can, too.

Tell your boy, he's an inspiration to my girl, ok?

I will for sure. The reason for posting is to show kids they are fully capable with the right equipment and training to get into the tree easily by themselves and move around easily with supervision. Sam does it all except setup his own system. He already is using throwline but yet to achieve his PSP. these are steps we are working on. He just got the new Sequoia in a size 0 so he will have side D's and lanyard for positioning. Or two systems on rope bridge. Baby steps. Tell your daughter to have a go. thanks for the kind compliments.

She's done tree climbing, but no rope climbing.

Small ladder-y trees, Rock and gym climbing, some.

She's about ready to make the leap.

Well set her up nice. Start with a 3:1 so she gets used to the prussic descending. That really encourages the and they crave ascending.

I had my hubby's granddaughter footlocking and Blake's on MRS when she was 7...just up and down about 10'...she loved it...then swinging around just above the grass, it was good for hours, gave her mum time to spend with Dad.
