Running Bowline

Made a video of a running bowline and thought I would share it. I know there are other ways to tie it but found this way the easiest. Cheers

Yep thats the exact way I do it.
But most times I have a closed eye dual lock biner on for removals or more rig

You almost did it in the vid... All you do is flip the hand to make the loop and then feed the line back through with your fingers.... No biggie.

I've tied plenty of one handed bowlines, usually because of an akward, crazy extended position.

I am a spliced eye with a steel biner guy now a days.

I can only one hand tie righty, for that matter I have to stop and think how to do it lefty with two hands.

Funny, I have some crews I subbed for that swore by the carabiner and three strand,
others it's all about the knots, they don't trust the splice.

Funny, I have to stop and think how to tie a running bowline when I'm on the ground, in the tree is a no brainer.

no, just keep checking, a double fisherman is a little more streamlined, In my opinion.

Not for my rigging.. I just do the running bowline... Or loop runners. If I am clipping the biner onto loop runners or straps... then the anchor hitch

Y'all need to step over to the dark side spliced eye and biners for rigging lines, so nice and quick. I have eyes on my 1/2" and 9/19" with a 50kn double action locking biner and am going to splice my 5/8 and 3/4" line and use two 50kn steelies.
