My friend Chris just called me about this ad in Craig's List.

http://boise.craigslist.org/zip/2785387933.html

Here's the email response he sent.

I'll love to come and dig that thing with my wife and kids for 2 days and display it in my front yard by the driveway next to my mailbox. Been looking for a while for a stump like that, but people want too much money for them. You should have put some varnish or water sealer on it to try to preserve the beauty of it from the weather and the elements.I can't believe you have left that thing out there for a year unprotected.Too bad you waited to post this add after the hollidays, it would have been a pleasent Christmas surprise for my wife.

Good question. Anyone overseas interested in this fine American made wooden novelty?

I know that its an odd post, but I have seen some cool root wad art. One historic restaurant just outside of Mount Rainier has one as the main part of a chandelier, and If you put it upside down and slightly buried in the soil, it can look cool once its cleaned off.

I hope that nobody has beaten me to it. haha.
