Portable Winches?

Reg, today we tried to drag some stuff up hill but just too many grabby things to deal with. I set a gin pole up, went smooth with the high block. Lift and drift up

Stephen, Next time, reverse speed line it--it's lots easier

I skimmed the thread but didn't see any link to a vendor. I found the winch for $1400 but could not find the tree mount. Where did you guys buy yours?

Awesome, thanks Stephen, I didn't even think to look with tree gear vendors:whine:

Did TreeStuff not have it?

I sure hope youse guys check our sponsor first...

I only allow one. I don't want ad links all over the 'House.

I didn't see it on there, I'm not too good at searching their site though.

Treestuff doesn't have the PCW winch stuff. It really doesn't matter who you order from, it all ships from the manufacturer. I want to say they're in Quebec? Engines are made in Thailand, it's a global product. ha

Yeah.

I'm not sure if it's the same one, but I saw a cool grcs type device with the fixed bollard permanently mounted outside of the capstan. Just an improvement is all.

I think you are talking about the Smart Winch.
