O.C.G.D. Thread, part two

My NXS didn't last long, trading it for this, should have it Wed or Thurs :) It's nearly the same scope I was going to order, minus some money and the 4 month lead time.

New axe. Been meaning to buy one for a while.
And a new cheap ass bench grinder with a green wheel. I got plans for a dust collection system, I'll take pics when it's done.
Got a new work coat too. I'll take pics when I get it back from the embroidery shop.

I dont know much about green wheels, but will the water bath help to keep the dust down?

None here, either. I've seen one or two at rental yards and I even saw a homeowner moving some gravel with one once. Never heard of any local tree service using one though.

I made another port a wrap today. This one is for my contract climber guy as partial payment for a job he did for me last week.

The machine does look awesome. I really can't believe that the minis haven't caught on yet.

But now I have never seen anyone else using one around here.

The last time I rented one, the other tree guys intown were making fun of it.
Course they also believe in total landscape renovation. Sod removal and all. I think they are practicing that fracture pruning technique also.
