You can do all types of rafting here in Idaho from mellow to insane. The mellow stuff is pretty fun. Haley and I have a good time doing it. I think you might surprise yourself and enjoy it Butch.

Welcome Oldschool. I guess i missed a bunch of "fun". Most of these guys are pretty good people. You just have to make a few allowances for them-they are mostly tree guys.

Chip, I am not an adrenaline junkie. I am a tree climbing chicken. I just climb for work, run whitewater for the fishing and run a week of kids' camp for the kids. Uhoh. Maybe I DO have urges to spit in Death's eye and laugh in defiance.

i dont know jack about kayaking but i do live next to a piece of river so nasty that they opened it for one day and people came to promote the piece. it must be pretty nasty cause one of them died the first day and it hasnt been used since to my knowlege. there are alot of narrow passes, superfast water, and some mean drops. we use to jump off the cliffs and sit in the whirl pools as kids.

thats friggin awsome. the end of the second vid,where they are standing next to a large drop and the pool at the bottom, that spot is called the tubbs. its a local hangout for the natives. i spent alot of time there as a kid. now i spent most of my time on the upper portion of the river skiing and parasailing....but mostly fishing
