First Coos Bay cut and dealing with broken limbs

I'm not seeing it, Dave.
Simply can't picture it.
Can't you get a piece of firewood or something and a saw and do a couple of pictures.
I don't really feel like experimenting with stuff like this, the results of a screw-up can be dire.

Stig I'll take the Gopro out on Saturday and drop a couple. When I first was shown how to do it I thought I was getting messed with. It works and I have done a few hundred times with no mishaps. Not any scarier than putting in a Coos Bay.

That would be great Dave. I can't get it straight in my head either.

Yep.
Thanks for taking the trouble. This'll be neat to see.

Ya, no kidding.

This sounds a lot different that what Duane told me. Somehow, hard leaning alders were not common for us at SPs, where he could show me. The Coos Bay was new to him, and was he a disbeliever. I don't know if he gave it any more of a chance from his experiments one tipped over horizontal alders one day.
